Chocolate Zucchini Bread
August 19th, 20073 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
2 (1oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups grated zucchini
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup coarsely chopped almonds (probly optional)
Preheat oven to 350 F
- Beat eggs, Beat in sugar, oil
- Stir in chocolate(melted), vanilla, zucchini.
- Sift dry ingredients together
- Combine with egg/zucchini/almond and mix well
- Our into two greased loaf pans (9X5)
- Bake at 350F for 50-60 min. or until done.
- Cool in pan 15 mins. , then put on racks
Enjoy! (freezes well)

On the following pages you will find hundreds of scans of beautiful images from my collection of old books, magazines, and postcards. They are all from material printed prior to 1923 and are in the public domain.
